Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished manuscripts to Khazanah Madani: Pendidikan Islam. Submitted manuscripts must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere and must fall within the journal’s focus and scope. Before submitting a manuscript, authors are required to ensure compliance with the following guidelines.
Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English and must represent original scholarly work that has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal. The journal accepts various types of scholarly contributions, including Research Articles, Literature Reviews, Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR), Conceptual Papers, Case Studies, and Educational Innovation Articles.
Manuscripts must be prepared using the official journal template and submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. The article title should be concise, clear, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the study.
The manuscript should contain, at a minimum, the following components: Title, Author Name(s), Institutional Affiliation(s), Corresponding Author’s Email Address, Abstract (150–250 words), Keywords (3–5 keywords), Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
All citations and references must follow the APA Style (7th Edition). Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to ensure consistency and accuracy in citation formatting. To maintain the quality and relevance of scholarly references, at least 80% of the references should be derived from peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last seven years. Authors are also encouraged to include Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for all references whenever available.
Submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism and comply with the journal’s similarity requirements. Every submission undergoes an editorial screening, plagiarism check, and Double-Blind Peer Review process before a publication decision is made.
After successfully submitting a manuscript through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, authors are encouraged to confirm their submission with the editorial team through the journal’s official communication channel, such as WhatsApp, if required for administrative verification. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s author guidelines, formatting requirements, ethical standards, or publication policies may be returned to the authors for revision before entering the review process.
