Plagiarism
Khazanah Madani: Pendidikan Islam is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that every published article represents original scholarly work. All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening before entering the peer-review process. The journal does not tolerate any form of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, or the use of sources without proper attribution and citation.
To ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts, similarity screening is conducted using recognized plagiarism-detection software, including Turnitin, iThenticate, Plagiarism Checker X, and, when necessary, Grammarly Plagiarism Checker. These tools are used to identify textual similarities and potential ethical concerns prior to editorial and peer-review evaluation.
The journal applies the following similarity thresholds:
- A maximum of 20% overall similarity index for the entire manuscript.
- A maximum of 3% similarity from any single source.
Manuscripts that exceed these thresholds may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected at the discretion of the editor. Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct prior to publication will be rejected immediately. If evidence of plagiarism or other ethical violations is discovered after publication, the Editorial Board reserves the right to take appropriate corrective actions, including the publication of corrections, expressions of concern, or article retractions, in accordance with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and other internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing. Through this policy, Khazanah Madani: Pendidikan Islam reaffirms its commitment to ethical, transparent, and high-quality publication practices that comply with both national and international standards of academic publishing.
